Over the past few months, experts have revised their 2024 home price forecasts based on the latest data and market signals.
Housing experts are predicting that sellers who had the luxury of sitting on the sidelines will be putting their homes on the market this year because they can no longer avoid moving for a job or for economic reasons.
Unfortunately, experts don’t expect that to make much of a change in our very low inventory because, as mortgage rates stabilize, particularly in the second half of the year, easing inflation and stabilizing rates will bring back buyers as well.
