Builders have been busy in Pikes Peak region

Home construction is heating back up in the Pikes Peak region. February was a BIG month for new home permits.

Pikes Peak Regional Building Department issued 310 new single family home permits. That’s an 87 percent increase compared with February of 2023 and the strongest month since June 2022. (That excludes June 2023 when numbers spiked because of a code change.)

Year To Date totals are at 491. ( Up 54 percent compared with this time last year.)
